This article is a load of misconceptions:

A World Health Organization panel has concluded that cellphones are “possibly carcinogenic,’’ putting the popular devices in the same category as certain dry cleaning chemicals and pesticides, as a potential threat to human health.

“Possibly Carcinogenic” does not mean 100% or even close.  Read the words carefully.  We use more dry cleaning chemicals and pesticides than cell phones over many decades.  The population of the world is over 7 billion.  If cell phones were as bad as this article claims, then where is the death rate count?  Where are tumors and other body deformations?  All that is written here is empty!

I have heard this since the beginning of the cell phones.  Human beings are living longer than ever before.  Where is the true evidence in this so called research?

The finding, from the agency’s International Agency for Research on Cancer, adds to concerns among a small but growing group of experts about the health effects of low levels of radiation emitted by cellphones.

Small group that are saying that cell phones are dangerous!  This so called group is International.  That means there is no strong support…just lose individuals that want to make a name for themselves.  If this were real folks, then strong scientific organizations will be backing this claim.  All we read from these groups are propaganda.  Have you seen any cancer growth on your body by the use of cell phones.  Has your health deteriorated at all sense you used cell phones?

The same individuals that say that cell phones and wireless devices are using the same technology for you to read on these so called dangers.  How else are you getting this information?  Yes, you can read articles like this  one in the newspaper, but most read online using their hand held devices in one form or the other.  We are in no danger of modern technology, wireless or otherwise.

The panel, which consisted of 31 scientists from 14 countries, was led by Dr. Jonathan M. Samet, a physician and epidemiologist at the University of Southern California and a member of President Obama’s National Cancer Advisory Board.

That is right, we are allowing 31 so called scientists to tell us how to live our lives from 14 different countries.  These very small group of scientists needs to get a life.  Believe it or not, there are millions of other scientists out there on planet Earth that would say that there is not enough evidence to show that cell phones and other wireless devices are dangerous to human health.  There is more danger in someone texting or talking on their cell phones while driving than causing cancer.

The group didn’t conduct any new research but reviewed numerous existing studies that focused on the health effects of radio frequency magnetic fields, which are emitted by cellphones.

NO NEW RESEARCH!!  That right there proves this is a load of CRAP!!  There are many articles to show the exact opposite.  Here are a few of them:

Scientific American- “Fact or Fiction?: Cell Phones Can Cause Brain Cancer” By Melinda Wenner  November 21, 2008

John Walls, vice president for public affairs at CTIA, the trade group representing the wireless communications industry, notes that the IARC findings do not mean cell phones cause cancer — and that the limited evidence on which the findings are based are far from conclusive.

There are more scare tactics, propaganda, political correctness, and out right no true claims to back up anything that clearly states with a smoking gun that cell phones and other wireless devices to prove they  causes cancer or any other harmful dangers to humans or any other life forms on this planet.
